Mission of Discipleship

The mission of faith formation at St. Agnes & Sacred Heart is to help our parishioners experience an encounter with the person of Jesus Christ, to grow in knowledge of him, and to surrender to him more deeply.  We seek to accompany others in nurturing an ongoing conversion to Christ and His Church.

Our Children’s Chapel during weekend Mass and early childhood class during family faith formation on Wednesday nights help to share the love of Jesus with the children and integrate young families into parish life.

Our elementary faith formation programs offer young students an opportunity to have a personal encounter with Christ, inviting them into a friendship with Jesus and teaching them how to pray.

Our youth and young adult programs are equipping young people not only to be able to articulate the faith to others, and see the relationship between faith and science, but also how to build a civilization of love in our community and in the world.

The word disciple means “learner” and a Christian is a lifelong learner and follower of Jesus. Our Adult Faith Formation programs continue our journey of faith to an ongoing conversion to Christ.

Thank you for supporting the mission of discipleship at St. Agnes & Sacred Heart Catholic Churches!
