SECULARITY AND THE GOSPEL RETREAT
Join us for the Secularity & the Gospel 2-day retreat which introduces leading voices in Catholic thought to show how Christian faith can thrive in secular society. We will also discuss four eras in Western intellectual and philosophical history as well as modern liberal and conservative approaches to morality, how to hold the tension between the two and be a witness of hope in today's world. The videos feature Fr. Ron Rolheiser. The retreat will be held at Sacred Heart on Tuesday, December 8th and Wednesday, December 9th from 1:00-2:30 pm. Social distancing measures will be in place and masks are required. Space is limited due to Covid-19 restrictions. METANOIA- A VIRTUAL PILGRIMAGE TO THE HOLY LAND!
METANOIA – and believe in the Gospel. In the Gospel of Mark, the first words of Jesus are an invitation to metanoia, to repent, to change, to be converted. Every Catholic, no matter where we are in our faith journey, is invited to a deeper conversion. Metanoia is not a one-time event; rather, it is a continual process of turning away from the things of the world, from lies and sin and discovering a deeper union with Christ. Metanoia is a production of The Ministry of The Wild Goose and 4PM Media in association with Franciscan University of Steubenville and the Franciscan Friars TOR of the Province of the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus. The series is beautifully filmed on location in the Holy Land, highlighting sacred places such as the Sea of Galilee, the River Jordan, the desert of Temptations, and many of the holy sites in Jerusalem.

MOMNIPOTENT: FINDING PEACE, BALANCE, AND JOY IN YOUR VOCATION AS A MOTHER ONLINE BOOK STUDY FOR MOMS
Is being a mother what you thought it would be? The exhaustion, monotony, mounting unfinished projects, a loss of a sense of self... Too many moms, especially young and new moms, do in fact feel disillusioned. Maybe you feel you've been sold a bill of goods, that success and happiness are not possible through the vocation to motherhood. Many moms quietly resign themselves to the idea that success, happiness and fulfillment are things they will need to find in spite of motherhood, not because of it.
In Momnipotent, Danielle Bean understands all this first-hand and meets women where they are. With great wit, wisdom, and compassion, she provides much-needed encouragement to all women and beautifully resonates with their feminine hearts.
Meets Wednesday 3:30-4:30 PM at St. Agnes
