The mission of faith formation at St. Agnes & Sacred Heart is to help our parishioners experience an encounter with the person of Jesus Christ, to grow in knowledge of him, and to surrender to him more deeply. We seek to accompany others in nurturing an ongoing conversion to Christ and His Church.
St. Agnes & Sacred Heart offers discipleship leader training which includes one in person session and two training workshops to be completed by January 1, 2022. There is an optional retreat opportunity in January (see details below). St. Agnes hosts an annual Catechist & Volunteer Appreciation Dinner in June.
*All leaders and volunteers working with youth must be complete Safe Environment Training and certification which includes youth protection training and background check.

There are two training workshops to be completed online at home. The training workshops include video sessions, personal reflection, and prayer. Leaders will gather after the new year to discuss the workshops.
This workshop features Chris Stefanik Topics include: the clear biblical roots of our missionary call to preach, teach, and spread the Gospel, proven techniques to explain the essential Gospel message—the Kerygma—to Catholics and non-Catholics alike, and Inspiring stories, testimonies, and personal challenges that will deepen your own personal faith and commitment to Christ
This workshop features Ryan O'Hara. Topics include: Obstacles, Myths, and Mindsets about sharing Jesus with others, Essential Marks of a Missionary Disciple, and How to Actually Share Your Faith.
