Eucharistic Adoration

MAKE AN APPOINTMENT WITH JESUS!

Jesus waits for us in this Sacrament of Love.

"Could you not watch one hour with me”

St. Agnes: Tuesday 8:30 AM -10:00 PM in the main church

Sacred Heart: Thursday 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM in the main church

WHAT IS ADORATION: Simply put, Eucharistic Adoration is spending time with Jesus who is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Pope Benedict recently said that Eucharistic Adoration “is simply the natural consequence of the Eucharistic celebration, which is itself the Church’s supreme act of adoration. The act of adoration outside Mass prolongs and intensifies all that takes place during the liturgical celebration.”

WHY DO ADORATION: Making adoration of the Blessed Sacrament a regular part of our devotional life can change our lives! Let us not pass up the opportunity to strengthen our friendship with the Lord by making visits to Christ in the Adoration Chapel. It is before the tabernacle or the monstrance that we find the answers to the challenges and or difficulties of life as well as the peace for which our hearts long.

MORE INFORMATION: There is more information in the St. Agnes Narthex and on the Faith Formation Bulletin Boards. Consider signing up for an hour each Tuesday, signing up for the substitute list, or simply visiting Jesus during Adoration Hours when you can. All are welcome!

Call the parish office at 218-547-1054 if you wish to sign up or have questions.
