CONNECTED: CATHOLIC SOCIAL TEACHING FOR THIS GENERATION
We live in a broken and hurting world. Teens today see division, anxiety, and tension all around them. Connected: Catholic Social Teaching for This Generation brings Christ’s healing message to a world that sorely needs it through the topics that are most important to teens right now. It addresses: God’s Creation and Stewardship, The Dignity of Human Life, Solidarity, Race and Responsibilities, Poverty and the Dignity of Work, Family: The Foundation of Society.
WHAT IS ADORATION?
Simply put, Eucharistic Adoration is spending time with Jesus who is truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. Pope Benedict recently said that Eucharistic Adoration “is simply the natural consequence of the Eucharistic celebration, which is itself the Church’s supreme act of adoration. The act of adoration outside Mass prolongs and intensifies all that takes place during the liturgical celebration.”
Confirmation is a two year program for students entering grades 10th & 11th. Year One includes participation in the Family Faith Formation program starting Fall 2021. The Year One program consists of the new series called Connected: Catholic Social Teaching for This Generation and Bishop Robert Barron's Sacraments Study. Year two begins Fall 2022 and includes participation in the Chosen program from Ascension Press. Confirmation Mass will be celebrated with the Bishop at St. Agnes in the Spring of 2023.
