Sacred Heart Building Discernment
Dear Parishioners, guests, and visitors!
Blessings to you in the Christmas Season!
A few months ago, we shared with you by mail, email, and physical handouts a letter starting a conversation about the future of our Sacred Heart Church building. Thank you for taking the time to engage the letter! If you missed it, you can still check it out below!
Just to reiterate a few good news things that we want to express: our parish is NOT closing, we are convinced of the mission of bringing Jesus to the world and the world to Jesus, and we want to proclaim the beauty of the Gospel in our words, our actions, and our physical structures (we want a beautiful Church). We want to plan ahead for 50 years, not just 5-10. Praise God!
Since we sent that letter to start the conversation about the future of our aging church building, we have developed a survey to help us listen to you and the Holy Spirit. We found out what other churches around the country have used for surveys, and tailored what we found to our needs here at Sacred Heart. Please take 5-10 minutes (we know your time is precious) and share how the Holy Spirit is moving in your heart as you think about the future of our beloved parish and our physical building.
PLEASE! Even if you are NOT a registered parishioner, if you attend Mass or events at Sacred Heart, YOUR VOICE MATTERS TO US TOO. We want to hear your thoughts!
Thank you for your prayerful feedback! O Come, O Come, Emmanuel!
Sincerely in Christ,
The Sacred Heart Finance Council: Jim Schneider, Tom Rodgers, Dan Falk, Jim Kelley, Marv Hartneck, Dwight Kurz, Tim Mueller, John Fank (Trustee), Chris Garoutte (Trustee), and Fr. Timothy
